Membership prerequisites
Membership to ANZAVPA requires all members to hold a minimum of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Animal / Veterinary Physiotherapy
All members of ANZVPA are required to hold registration with AHPRA (Australia) or NZPB (New Zealand) respectively
Members are required to have appropriate professional and public liability indemnity insurance in order to practise with animals
It is expected that members will actively participate in events such as journal clubs along with contributing towards the promotion of the association and our profession

Professional Conduct
Members are expected to abide by the AHPRA or NZPB code of professional conduct.
As part of a growing population of physiotherapists in animal therapy, all members of ANZAVPA are requested to behave with respect, integrity and honesty.
Open discussions on social media sites are fabulous spaces to engage in shared learning and provide opportunities for growth and development. Members are reminded that these are safe places to ask questions and discuss topics relevant to our profession. It is expected that all members will be courteous, respectful and open to differing opinions. Respect and kindness are required at all times.
